Our history
The Marilyn Shirt/Blouse collection was born in 2013 from Marilyn?s passion for White Blouses. The staple statement piece that is the foundation of all great wardrobes. Upon Marilyn?s? meeting of Giorgio and son Giulio Boldetti from Torino Italy, they were able to take her ideas and transform their longstanding tailor's workshop into a modern day woman?s everyday wear wardrobe specialists producing The Marilyn brand, whose tradition means love for the final product. Care, patience, experience and attention to detail goes into every blouse. That is why the production is totally Italian, as well as the fabrics. Marilyn selects from the weaving mills located between Milan, Gallarate and Como. The fabrics, silk, natural viscose, linen and cotton are cut and processed in the Turin laboratory, creating garments with yarns, buttons and high-quality finishes. Many processes are still carried out by hand, in compliance with a tradition of excellence, made in Italy.
